Retail Project: Branded Boutique and Restaurant.
The aim of this project was to select an existing brand/clothing retailer and re-brand its image via a design for a new luxury boutique outlet due to be fitted in Liverpool's exclusive city centre Met Quarter shopping. The space is spread over two floors, within this a restaurant/dining experience must be included. The store already shares the benefit of in-house WCs, cleaning/maintenance, security, storage and food preparation area facilities.
The brand that I chose to re-brand is Wallis. Wallis designs high quality women's clothing aimed at ages 25-55, for the confident, powerful, edgy and stylish. The theme/experience i chose for the re-brand was Underwater. The new brand image offers a fresher, brighter, exotic and more adventurous lifestyle; the brand-scaping of the space, the vibrant clothing collection, the fresh restaurant produce and the coloured lighting aim to communicate this to their visiting customers while maintaining the element of elegance to the Wallis brand via fine materials, spacious arrangements, soft flowing lines and neutral mixes.
